At IMPACT EDI we believe that Diversity Management, which includes inclusion and equity, should be integrated into every facet of business and education. We have a healthy obsession with organizational data that proves that organizational diversity carries with it a tangible number of benefits that hold a direct correlation to the overall success of the organization. We know that companies and schools that have a diverse population, and have organizational leaders who make belongingness through diversity and inclusion, and equity key imperatives, are more successful. We assist organizations in taking a look at diversity from the periphery to gain additional perspectives. Using equity as a goal, we then place diversity and inclusion at the center of the key systems and processes. so that people are comfortable taking risks, sharing ideas, being fully themselves, and they feel invested in their own success and the success of the organization at every level.
We deliver impactful trainings, workshops, and talks accompanied by guided dialogue about identity, cultural competency and responsiveness, implicit bias, inclusion, and belonging, that produce meaningful and measurable change within your organization. We work in partnership with your team to assess your organization’s race relations and collective cultural competency needs. We then develop and execute a customized series of initiatives that address and improve them.
Our Mission and Vision
ImpactEDI™ is a social benefit organization committed to the work of shifting societal norms through education, unification, and dialogue about race, gender, cultural competency, bias, inclusion, and equity. Our dynamic trainings, workshops, and guided dialogue influence mindset shifts and produce meaningful and measurable change within your organization. We work with individuals and teams, professionals, and community members to gain fluency and greater capacity when navigating conversations regarding systemic racism and/or prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism connected to culture. By working in partnership with you and your team, we are able to assess your organization’s race and gender relations and collective cultural competency needs, and develop and execute a customized series of initiatives that address and improve them.
Our mission is to provide organizations with the data, tools, and support needed in establishing workplace and school communities that understand, embrace, appreciate, and grow diversity and inclusion. We do this by building leadership capability and organization capacity.
Our vision is to help create a world where everyone matters, everyone gets their needs met, and everyone’s included.
Diversity – We believe in an inclusive and cultural diverse society.
Respect – We value the contributions of all people, and uphold the dignity of others.
Education – We believe that education serves as a keystone in improving society and building a better future for us all.
Empowerment – We believe that when people have the tools and resources necessary to build bridges across differences, they are more likely to become and are better equipped at being lifetime social change-makers.
Collaboration – We work cooperatively with others who share our vision, our values, and our purpose.
Community – We are vigilantly aware of the work that we must continually do to undermine all the socialization that leads us to behave in ways that perpetuate domination and commit ourselves to the work and well being of the whole.
Hope – We are inspired by the potential that changing mindsets can bring.
Equity – We believe in consistent engagement that ensures that people with marginalized identities have the opportunity to grow, contribute, and develop – regardless of how or with whom they identify.
We continue to develop a proactive perspective on multiculturalism, diversity, cultural competency, and inclusion and belonging that is respectful, constructive, and evidence-informed. Our approach to our work ensures that we have the experience, skills, and training to engage effectively with the broad range of racially and culturally diverse communities.
We’re proud of the strong relationships that we’ve developed with organizations and service providers who share our values and purpose. We pursue strengthened partnerships with local government agencies, educational institutions (both public and independent), Fortune 500 companies, small to midsize businesses, social enterprises, non-government agencies, communities, and individuals to achieve our purpose.
